My name is Khoshal and I have been a personal trainer for more than 10 years. I started my career at various health clubs such as Xsport and Lifetime Fitness. In May of 2009, I decided to go on my own with “Body by Khoshal”. I feel like it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I love what I do. To me, nothing is more rewarding than helping someone work towards and meet their health specific goals. Belief and commitment are key to achieving a healthy lifestyle! Exercise always helps enhance self confidence and motivation. I work in all areas of fitness. Whether your goal is weight loss, gaining strength, building lean muscle mass, improving athletic performance, or just looking to become healthier I will make it my priority to help you reach that goal.

Competition History:

In the past five years, I have competed in three different bodybuilding competitions. In May 2012 I became a NABBA USA Professional bodybuilder. In June 2010, I came in first in middle weight bodybuilding and fourth place in open middle weight at the NPC Indianapolis Bodybuilding Championships. In November 2009, I competed in Iron Man Bodybuilding, and came in third.

My name is Sophia Hamid, I am Khoshal’s wife, and also a Certified Personal Trainer. I have my bachelors in Health Science with a minor in pre-nursing. My interest in fitness began in 2009 while working at a fitness facility that was a part of hospital. I worked out regularly but wasn’t too confident about what I was doing or how I was doing it. After being married to a Personal Trainer who does bodybuilding as a hobby, I can say that I am really confident when it comes to working out, diet preparation, and doing what it takes to get the desired results. After watching the work he was doing with his clientele and witnessing the positive impact it had on their lives, I realized that I wanted to help the community in the same way. That is when Nooreen and I decided to start “Nisanity”

The Nisanity concept has been in the making for over two years as Khoshal recognized the need for female trainers to serve conservative Muslim women or just women who preferred to work out in the privacy of women only environments. He has had the benefit of putting the Nisanity program to the test on several of his female clients, both of which are now his female trainers, Nooreen Furquan and myself. There are several women only gyms and programs, but little to none offers the knowledge and expertise of an accomplished body builder and personal trainer. Being a trainer with over 12 years of experience, and having coached his trainers Nooreen and I, Nisanity by team BBK, has in depth experience in conducting structural and fitness assessments for every client that is part of the group. The core training program will include circuit training, cardiovascular training, strength conditioning, boxing, self-defense, and post rehab facilitation techniques. In addition one of the most important parts of a results oriented training program is nutrition counseling, the Nisanity program will offer one on one expert advice to form a nutrition program that will meet every clients individual goals.

Frank Guerrero is owner of Top Trainer, a performance enhancement company based out of Northbrook, IL. The company provides consumers with the truth about health and fitness and exposes the discrepancies related with ineffective diets and training fads. Based on a functionally-oriented approach, Top Trainer utilizes a variety of progressive coaching methodologies to achieve REAL results. Throughout his career in the fitness industry, Guerrero has helped individuals reach their goals through education and commitment to proven strategies for success. Top Trainer specializes in the promotion of structural balance to maximize performance, prevent injury, and enhance recovery.

Frank earned his Master’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from the California University of Pennsylvania. He is a certified personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise (ACE), NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist, IDEA-PFT Elite Personal Fitness Trainer, and Poliquin International Certification Program (PICP). Guerrero is also Etcheberry certified in tennis-specific strength and conditioning. Frank regularly attends national health and wellness conferences to stay on the cutting edge of the latest research findings and fitness trends.

My name is Steve Uhren, I’ve been training for four years and have my certifications with PTA Global and their PTA Global Advanced course. In recent years I’ve been apart of a cross country and track team with my school. I will be shortly be applying to physical therapy graduate programs. I hold multiple group classes throughout the week which focus on your body as a whole and welcomes beginner to intermediate levels. Consistent feedback I receive from my clientele whether individual or group is; time spent is well focused, safely oriented, and fun.

Growing up in a household of athletes, Tarik is highly disciplined in the foundations of healthy living.  Within his many years of experience, his clientele has ranged from young aspiring athletes to corporate executives.

While specializing in weight loss, functional movement training, core strength development and nutritional guidance, he brings a no nonsense approach to his clients.  He truly understands how the body changes both from his experience, as well as a scientific perspective.

Tarik’s style of training consists of many different variations.  One of his most important attributes is not just helping one reach their physical goals, but to help his clients gain the confidence to do so.  He brings a distinct twist to personal training.  While he holds to many traditional approaches and techniques in getting his clients into shape, he also strongly believes the mind is a key component, and must also be conditioned to achieve optimal results.

Tarik’s approach to training utilizes a systematic plan in forcing muscle adaptation through resistance training and cardio.  Every training plan is custom developed to best address each client’s fitness goals, weight loss, muscle gain, increased strength and overall health.  It is this mindset, along with his drive and athletic ability that Tarik will prove to you that…     Anything Is Attainable!

I hold a Masters Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Sport and Exercise and currently hold a NASM certification as well as an FMS certification. My specializations include Strength Training, Interval Training, Weight Loss, Core and Stability Training, Nutritional Guidance, and Endurance Training. I also specialize in functional movement training in order to assess movement patterns and identify functional limitations in each client. I have been a Massage Therapist for one year. Began my journey at XSport Fitness for 8 months, and decided it was in my best interest to work on my own at Lifestyle Fitness. Massage is extremely beneficial to one’s health and I would love to help you better your life. Rhea Ravindran

My name is Rhea Ravindran and I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I received my bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, but health and fitness is my passion. I specialize in core and stability training, strength training and weight loss.

I became interested in fitness initially on a personal level; I grew up being overweight and reached the pinnacle of my weight after my first semester away at college. I tried fad diets and easy shortcuts, but ultimately, going to the gym on a regular basis and eating clean proved to be the sustainable method of being fit and healthy. Through the whole process of reaching my goals, I worked with an extremely encouraging personal trainer, whose passion and dedication were contagious and inspiring.

Today, as a personal trainer, I strive to pass on the knowledge and motivation that I have gained. I enjoy encouraging others to reach their personal fitness goals and re-gain the body, health and confidence they desire.
